After a tough 2020-2021 school year, the PTA is glad to be able to organize an in-person event for this year's Panther Prowl. In 2019 our PTA was able to purchase and arrange for the installment of a new Parkmont Elementary electronic marquee board and in 2020, three automatic water filter fountains have been installed on campus with these funds. The remaining funds will support PTA-sponsored activities and resources for the school such as: Our teachers, thoughtfully purchase much-needed items throughout the year such as books, classroom and art supplies.
Most of the money raised will go directly to the teachers for use in the classroom. Our goal is to raise $75 or more per student. Your support will enable Parkmont to provide a wide assortment of programs and events that enrich our children’s education and continue our school’s tradition of outstanding achievement.Įvery dollar of support will make a difference.
In keeping with the updated COVID-19 protocols, this year's event will be an in-person students-only event. I know that students are glad to be back amongst their teachers and friends this year, after having been virtual this past year. Welcome to the 19th Annual Panther Prowl run/jog/walk-a-thon - Parkmont Elementary School’s only major fund-raiser event benefiting classroom teachers and PTA-sponsored programs.
